43North Portfolio Company Squire Raises $34M Series B

Blog Media Coverage

Barbershop management platform and 43North portfolio company Squire announced today that it has closed a $34M Series B, led by San Francisco-based venture capital firm CRV. Squire received a $650K investment from 43North in 2017, and currently has a customer success and operations team headquartered in Buffalo at Seneca One Tower.

Squire’s investment comes at a crucial time for the barbershop industry, as reopening post COVID-19 begins and there are new safety measures that need to be taken. Their platform helps barbers manage operations, from payroll and scheduling for employees to booking appointments and processing payments – which is especially important as contactless operations become the precedent. Utilizing Squire will allow barbers to safely reopen, without the need for waiting rooms or in-person payment. They also developed a waiver that barbershop customers can sign to confirm that they haven’t had any COVID-19 symptoms.

Congratulations to the Squire team on this amazing milestone. We are proud to be a part of your journey and can’t wait to see what comes next!
