Magnusmode is Helping People with Autism Navigate the World Around Them - Hear Their Inspiring Story During Latitude Live on June 5

Media Release

Live taping of 43North’s Latitude podcast will feature Nadia Hamilton, Founder & President of 43North portfolio company Magnusmode

Free event will take place at DUENDE at Silo City in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY – May 29, 2019 – Founding a startup takes guts, intelligence, perseverance, and, in the case of Nadia Hamilton, love. Her company, Magnusmode, is helping individuals with autism and cognitive special needs navigate the world with ease through their mobile app. They partner with corporations, airports, and community organizations to provide step-by-step visual guides for activities like brushing your teeth, going through airport security, and opening a bank account. And her idea for the company came through her efforts to assist her brother, who is autistic.

Hear Nadia’s story during the next live taping of 43North’s Latitude podcast on Wednesday, June 5 at DUENDE at Silo City in Buffalo. You’ll learn how Magnusmode came to be; how they became a winner of 43North’s Year 5 competition; how they are partnering with Oishei Children’s Hospital; and how they’re growing their team here in Buffalo.

The event will also feature light food and networking.
