Five $1M Investments? Let’s Do It! Our 2022 Application is Now Open!

Blog Media Coverage

First things first – 43North’s 2022 Application is officially open!

So we were thinking… what if we gave every company $1 million?

In prepping to enter our eighth year, we took a close look at our offering and considered all that’s changed since we came on the scene in 2014. As we continue on our mission to bring top companies to Buffalo, we felt the time was right to make a change and double down. So in a first for 43North, we’ll disperse our $5 million across five fast-growing startups. That’s right, every company selected to our Y8 cohort will receive a $1 million investment in exchange for 5% equity.

It’s certainly an exciting change, but we continue to pride ourselves on the fact that 43North is more than money – so much more! We’re excited to kick off our hunt for the next companies that will build with the backing of 43North, gaining access to mentorship, connections to investors, inroads to customers, and an entire city rallying around them.

If you’re a seed-stage founder, or you know a seed-stage founder with a strong team, traction with customers, and someone who seems like a good fit for 43North,  we want to hear from you!
