Joe Neiman wasn’t content being the best used car salesman in a small town outside of Albany. When he returned to Buffalo a few years ago to manage the purchase of used vehicles for a large dealership, his discontent for the status quo grew. His decade and a half experience in the used car business was the catalyst for him to co-found ACV Auctions, a tech startup that is taming the wild west culture of car auctions and corralling it into the twenty-first century.
