Today, 43North hosted its second annual JobCade career fair for Buffalo-area startups and emerging businesses. More than 50 local companies, looking to fill over 400 openings, were on hand for the event. Hundreds of job seekers showed up to learn about the wide array of opportunities that included roles in sales, marketing, operations, accounting, manufacturing and more.
The seven prize winners – six of whom are from out of town – have formed connections with each other and have made contacts in the local business and academic worlds, thanks to introductions by 43North.

That includes seven new 43North companies – the winners of prize money in its annual competition last October – and 11 companies that won 43North prizes in recent years.
